Matched

I am not a happy camper.  I am upset with this book because I thought it was going to be better.  I have to be honest.  I was bored!  I think it may be because I read Delirium first (see last review) and the books storylines are so similar, but this one just wasnt exciting enough!!!  I would give it a 3 out of 5. You can make your own opinion, but I will not be reading the second book.

Here's the synopsis:

REVIEWS

"Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate . . . until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow." -goodreads

  1. This was one of my favorite books EVER! Loved it so much!! I'm surprised you didn't enjoy it. I also read Delirium, which I do agree that they are similar, but I read Matched first.

  2. See that's what I'm finding...people that read matched first seem to enjoy it...those that read it 2nd however, not so much...
